Bauer Agile User Story Map PRO for Jira - Estimate field

Good day,
We have the above plugin for our Server version of JIRA. I'm curious to understand where the Estimate field comes from?
It appears to be editable, i.e. one can type in an integer, but pressing return, or moving onto another tile doesn't persist the value.
I also note that questions and discussions on here are trending more toward the Easy Agile User Story Map plugin. Is this becoming the standard for User Story Mapping these days?
