Batching Email Notifications

Hello.  We currently have this turned on at an interval of 10 minutes.  My question is this:  Does that "Receive Notifications every 10 minutes" mean that essentially Jira is "queueing" up ALL (regardless if there was only 1 change to an issue) notifications and sending them every 10 minutes?

We have noticed that there is a delay in receiving emails (e.g. I make a single change to an issue but I don't see the email notification up to 15 minutes later).  I'm trying to determine if this behavior could be attributed to that batching.

I am seeing the same (Jira 8.13.16).  I have email batching set to every 2 minutes (and have tried 5 minutes as well) but email notifications are only sent out every 15 minutes.  Any ideas?

Ah, ignore me, I had the Mail Queue Service job set to every 15 mins.

Yes this means that it will only send every 10 mins. Your delay is likely related.
