Backup fails: Export failed (Completed pre-export checks)

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

When trying to create a cloud backup of JIRA (https://qualitasag.atlassian.net/secure/admin/CloudExport.jspa), "Create backup for cloud" I get the following message: 

"""

Export error

  • Export failed (Completed pre-export checks)


Please try again later or contact support if error persists.

"""

Any idea what could be going wrong or where to look in order to find more (log file-like) information about what could be going wrong?

Hello @Anke.Regli , it is hard to tell what could have been the issue as we don't have access to the logs on cloud. Please open a support ticket with Atlassian, so that they can fix this for you.

hello @Anke.Regli , I see that Atlassian is trying to fix an ongoing issue - https://jira-core.status.atlassian.com/

Identified - We are currently experiencing issues where customers are unable to run a site backup. We have identified the issue are in the process of rolling out the fix.
