Backup Confluence and Jira data to non Atlassian environment

Dieter Lauwers

Hi,

Can anyone provide advice or recommendations based on the following requirements?

  • Due to ISO 27001 and GDPR compliance, we need to back up our Atlassian data (Confluence and Jira).
  • Data restore is not a strict requirement, but is nice-to-have. Like, exporting Confluence to HTML is acceptable for our needs.
  • The backup process must be fully automated and scheduled, with no manual intervention required.
  • The export should be stored in a non‑Atlassian environment.

Note, we are using a Confluence standard and Jira Premuim version.

Thanks for tips.

Greetings,

Dieter

Hi @Dieter Lauwers

You would require 3rd party apps for this like from Revyz or purchase the new Atlassian backup and restore

The Atlassian option is only for premium and enterprise plans.

You could check other apps on the marketplace.

Ootb there in only the option to create backups manually and then download them.
