Availability of deprecated API endpoint - Get create issue metadata

Hi Team,

As per the deprecation notice shared here (https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/changelog/#CHANGE-1304), the Get create issue metadata endpoint has been deprecated and won't be available for consumption after Jun 3, 2024.

I would like to know and request if this endpoint can work and return the data for a couple of more months so that we can replace this API endpoint with  Get projects paginated as suggested in our integration app.

I sincerely doubt that Atlassian are going to change their Global product development schedule for just one person or organisation.

You've had 6 months notice of the change coming. The endpoint is currently still working as of today, but it may be switched off at any time, so just hurry up and change your usage to the replacement endpoint, ASAP.

I completely agree with you, but at the same time, I would like to understand and see the possibilities of getting this extended.

Do you have any exact timelines to turn/switch it off?

As suggested in the doc, we have started migrating this API with a newer one.
