Automation upon bug creation

I'm new to the platform and want to create an automation where upon creation of a bug and assigning it to a certain story/issue, said story/issue would move to another state in the board. What's the best way to go about it ?

The best way to go about this would be to use Automation.

The Automation can be triggered when the link between the Bug and Story is created and as the next step, the Story can be transitioned to new Status.
