Automation to clone comment when it is added into a work it to another linked work item

Hi,

May I have your advise on how to clone comment when it is added into a work it to another linked work item with Jira automation?

Below is how I setup but it doesn't work well.

First time, it cloned all comments from the triggered work item to target work item.

Subsequently, it doesn't add any comments with returning ".. Comment already added..." per below.

The outcome that I would like to achieve is add/clone the newly added comment to the target work item.

My issue resolved.

Issue for subsequent comment not added is due to "Prevent duplicates by ..." (refer green highlight below) is not uncheck

It cloned all comments is solved by adding suffix ".last" (refer yellow highlighted).

Hey @CWM ,

I believe you can leave all as-is except that "Comment on work item" action. Simply use:

{{comment.body}}

smart value and you should be good.
