Automation to calculate the original estimate from the Start Date and Due Date

Hi,

Hope someone can help with this.

We have some tasks that need to have a original estimate populated. But these were missed however they have a start and due date.

We would like to be able to use jira automation to calculate the difference in working hours between the start and due dates and then update the original estimate with this hours calculation.

Is this possible? We also want to have this as an automated rule going forward to prevent people missing this originalestimate.

Does anyone know if this is possible?
