Automation, should I get info from incoming webhook payload?

I want to take some info from the Incoming WEBHOOK from another software that is not JIRA. On the Webhook I have information inside the Payload JSON data. Should I be able to use this information for my new created issue?

I haven't tried this, and apparently Code Barrel, who authored the rules, does this with webhooks.  (Code Barrel is now part of Atlassian.)

Thank you Bill, I will be checking those links. 

On the other hand, I realized that using  {{webhookData}} I can use the information on the inconming Webhook... 

Testing that in this precise moment.
