Automation create a subtask from a parent, copy the priority of the trigger issue (parent)

Davide Orbitello November 7, 2024

Hello everyone,

I have rules that create subtasks from parent tickets when values are changing and trigger the rules. I would like that when a subtask is created, it will inherit the same priority as the parent ticket that trigger the creation rule but apparently is not possible.

Is there a way to make this happen?

Hi @Davide Orbitello

Give this a try...

Select the ellipses > choose COPY

Click the 'Copy Priority from' ...and then you've a choice of which issue to copy from
