Right now I have an automation that creates 8 sub-tasks and one task on a manual trigger. I am looking to create a condition that checks if the task has already been created (some of my users have already created the task) and linked and creates a new one if no task has already been created and linked.
Are you using Jira automation or something else? If you are using JA this could be hard to achieve, since you have to search for linked issues, with the same summary and issue types etc.
