Automation: Epic Name copies from Summary name

Hi! I am in a company managed project.

I am trying to create an automation where I don't have to file in the epic name twice since it already appears in the summary.

is this possible to do?

Hello @Breanna Williams

The Epic Name is a required field when an Epic is created. You can't use Automation to fill a field that is Required during issue creation.

If you want to overwrite the Epic Name field content after the issue is created, that could be done with an Automation Rule.
