Automatically suffix the Sprint Name with the START date

We like to include the date of the sprint in the name for easy reference.

is there a way to automatically insert that at end or beginning?

Hi @Clay Nichols ,

welcome to the Atlassian community!

Unfortunately you can do that. On a cloud instance you can't add a javascript to do that.

Hi @Clay Nichols -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

When you create the sprint, do you know the start date?  If so, why not just type it in at that time?

You could do this with an automation rule and a call to the REST API, perhaps triggered on sprint start, but that seems a bit complex for this need.

Kind regards,
Bill

Yeah, we do it manually now.

Hello @Clay Nichols

Welcome to the community.

There is no native way to accomplish what you want, either within the dialog or through Automation Rules after the sprint is created.
