Automatic notification when a comment is written

Hello,

i wanted to ask if anybody knows how to help mi with my Problem?

I will start with a picture to make it more clear:

 

So i want to make a automatic email when somebody comments the Issue, it works quite good already but my major problem is that when somebody comments the one who makes the comment also gets the Notification.
So is there a way that only the other Person who didnt make the comment get the email?

And maybe its important in this Projekt there are always only two people on one Issue (Reporter and Assignee).

Hi @Lukas Hametner ,

in my opinion you don't need an automation to put in place that but you could setup notification on assignee/reporter through the notification scheme within your porject.

About comment author notification, each user can setup his preference so that he is not notified about his own action (Notifications of your changes : https://support.atlassian.com/jira-work-management/docs/manage-your-jira-personal-settings/).

The Answer above should be the way to go. Nevertheless you could do something like this, if its required: 

Im not sure whether you can compare the users directly, or if you need to go via the id, but that would be the logic needed for the automation.
