Automated transition of sub-tasks when parent transitions

Hello, 

We have sometimes Stories or Tasks in the Kanban Backlog that during early groomings, get subtasks added to them. When the time comes to transition the Story/Task to Selected for Development, I would like for their sub-tasks to transition to the same status.

Automation feature only allows Subtask Creation.

You can use Automation to transition the Sub-tasks when the Parent transitions.

What if the automation is working for one sub-task, but not for the other? For example, the RAD sub-task transitions to the new status, but the QC sub-task does not. (The same status is present in all sub-tasks.)

Do both of the sub-tasks use the same Workflow? If not, you should look at the transitions for the QC sub-task to make sure that add-ons are not excluded in any conditions.
