Automate StartDate when ticket moved to IN PROGRESS

Hello all,

Do you know if (and how) it is possible to automate StartDate field in JIRA tickets?

I would like to populate this value with the date when the task has been moved to a specific state (IN PROGRESS).

What is the behaviour in case the task is then moved back to TODO?

Yes you can do this with Automation for Jira. What is the value for the date you are wanting to populate?

I want the date when the ticket has been moved for the first time from a state to another, specifically from the state TO DO to the state IN PROGRESS
