i have 2 different projects namely customer support and customer info. The customer info as the name suggests has a lot of details about the client. When a JSM user is creating a new issue and selects the customer name from a drop down list in the customer support project, i want some of the other fields to automatically filled with information that is available in the customer info project tickets. There seem to be third party apps in the marketplace that claim to be able to do this, but is this possible to do via the native automation within Jira cloud.
Hi Vamsi,
I you don't need to populate the values in the form itself, you can easily populate the fields using an automation rule after the ticket is initially created.
hi John
So it would not be possible to populate while it is still in the form state ?

Is the customer data in an assets object? I suspect not since you just have a standard subscription. If it is just in a project with stored values, then no, you would not be able populate it while still in the form state.
