Auto assign regarding priority

Is it possible, and how, to set the assignee regarding the priority of an issue ?

You can do it in a JIRA listener by capturing the issue events : http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Listeners

We can't use listener, because Jira isn't hosted on our servers, but hosted on atlasian web server.

I think they do install plugins if you raise a support request? I am not aware of any config using which you can achive this!
