Auto Assigning an Inactive User.

Ruslan
February 14, 2022

Colleagues, hello!

When creating a task, a blocked user is automatically assigned. In the user and role settings, another user is set as the project leader.

How to cure this bug?

Jira Server 8.9.0

Hi @Ruslan ,

welcome to the Atlassian Community!

First of all you need to check component assignment for your project https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/managing-components-938847187.html

If you have not component assignment that can cause your issue, please, as a JIRA Admin, check workflow associated. A post function on creation could set assignee.

The last check is to review automation (if exist) for your project.

Hope this helps,

Fabio

Hi!

The components do not have this user.

You mean change the Workflow?

Yes, I do. Please check "Create" transition and post function associated.

Indeed, the post function was set up when moving from one stage to another!

Thank you very much!
