Attribute Sub Tasks to Sprints

Is there a way that I can attribute sub tasks to a specific sprint? It looks like the lowest level that I'm able to attribute sprints to are at the Task level but not at the Sub Task. I have a bunch of sub tasks that I am trying to attribute to a sprint.

Hello @Jimmy Kim

In Jira, subtasks are not attributed to sprints individually. They move with their parent issue into and out of sprints. If you assign the parent issue to a sprint, then all of its subtasks go with it.

If that doesn't suit your need, can you explain more about your use case and what you are trying to accomplish?

It is important to understand that sub-tasks are not sprint items, they are pieces of sprint items.  It is nonsense to have sub-tasks in different sprints, they are in a sprint because they are part of a story that is in a sprint.

Gotcha - that helps. It looks like the sub tasks were incorrectly classified as sub tasks and should have been tasks so they could be associated to a sprint. It's good to know that sub tasks cannot be allocated to a specific sprint.
