Attachment field

Hi,

  Is there any way we can add a permanent space for attachments in feature issue type
So that you could drag&drop attachments to the issues easier.

As we can see the attachment is available under Description Fields in issue layout.

Is there any other way to do in Jira cloud.

If I understand correctly, you'd like to change the position of the Attachments field in the issue layout.

Unfortunately, this isn't possible — the location of the Attachments field is fixed and cannot be moved.

    Yes right the user requirement is that they want to be fixed position  as I see in Isse Layout we cannot see Attachment like how we have Summary or other fields.

The field is only visible if there are attachments present.

Users can add attachments by either dragging and dropping files onto the issue or by clicking the "Add Attachment" button.

In order to allow the upload of files the attachments field should be added to the view and edit screen of work items.

I'm not sure what you mean by making this permanent. But if your question is how to make sure it is enabled on all screens/ work types I'm afraid there is no way.
You really need to add the field.
