Attachment custom field?

Dear,

Is it possible to create a custom field of the type 'attachment'?

I want to do this because this attachment custom field needs to appear in the webform only if another custom field has a designated value (with the dynamic forms add-on). And it seems that the add-on only works with custom fields and not with the default fields available in Jira Service Desk.

I work with the server version of JIRA, JIRA Core 7.1.9, JIRA Service Desk 3.1.9.

No.  I'm afraid the "attachment" field isn't a field type.  The field is a hard-coded container for the attachments functionality, and works very differently to custom fields.

You'd need to find/write an add-on that can provide the same thing as though it's a field type.
