Attachment added to work item but unable to see it (155 issue)

Hello Community,

I have added an attachment to my work item successfully.
However, I am not able to see the attachment properly.

It is showing 155, but when I try to open or view it, I cannot see the attachment.

I have already:

Checked refresh and reload

Verified that the attachment was uploaded

Can someone please help me understand:

Why the attachment is not visible?

Is this a permission issue or a system issue?

How can I fix this problem?

@Suraj Pawar Hi,

You may not be able to see the attachment because Jira does not allow more than 150 attachments on a single work item.

If you want to view more attachments, you need to use an add-on.
Here are some add-ons you can use:

Smart Attachments

Attachment Manager

Better Attachments

Please try using one of these add-ons to manage and view all attachments.

Sorry, but that is not correct.

Jira Cloud allows up to TWO THOUSAND attachments to a single Work Item, as Atlassian have stated in this Work Item limits document. This same limit has been described many times before in many threads on this community forum and elsewhere.

Jira Cloud allows up to TWO THOUSAND attachments to a single Work Item. However, once you exceed 150 attachments, Jira stops displaying the attachment thumbnails and only displays the attachments as a list view. This is deliberate, to keep the performance of the GUI reasonable.

This is well known behaviour of Jira Cloud and you do NOT need any add-on from the Marketplace to view all the attachments.
