Atlassian Project section of Epic not linking correctly

Hi - I'm just starting out with Atlassian Projects which look like a great solution for my team. I'm having an issue though with the sync between the Project and the associated Jira Epic. 

When I add the Epic link to the 'Where is the work tracked?' field the link looks to be correctly created, however I'm not then able to interact with or click through to the project from the 'Atlassian project' section of the Epic - it just shows as a generic image and Atlassian link. 

I'm on a MacBook Pro, browser is Safari.

I am not sure there is a link provided at this point. You might want to open a support ticket with Atlassian to ask them about that and get feedback.

Thanks @John Funk - I read that it's supposed to link from this Atlassian article: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/link-work-in-jira-to-goals-and-projects-in-atlassian-home/ in the section I've screengrabbed.

I'll open a support ticket to see if they can help 😅

Have you tried it today? I am wondering if the outage yesterday was affecting it.
