Hi Atlassian Support,
We’re trying to update the full names of a few team members whose names currently appear in different formats (e.g., all lowercase, all uppercase, or username-style). However, the changes made by our Jira admin are not reflecting in the system.
Could you please check if these accounts are managed through an external directory? If so, we understand that the names might need to be updated from the external system.
We’re not fully certain about the setup, so would really appreciate your help in checking this and guiding us on how to proceed.

Have you already contacted the Organization Administrators for your Atlassian Cloud products? They would be able to review your set up. Those should be individuals within your company.
This is a community of (mostly) users or our own Atlassian products, not the best method for contacting Atlassian Support.
