If we assign someone as a member to a card do they receive any information as being assigned? I know that they need accept to watch the card but how do they know that some card was assigned to them?
Users are notified for assigned issues to them, via the notification scheme. If someone is placed as an assignee, and if on that notification scheme is set that on "assign issue event" the assignee must be notified, then he/she will receive this email (provided that she/he has the browse project permission).
