I want to keep the Jira board private but being able to assign tickets to users without permissions. They should only be able to view and respond the tickets assigned to them. Is this possible? How should I do it?
hey @Mohanraj Thangamuthu, thanks for the info. Is it possible to do this automatically? I don't want to be adding users anytime we need to add someone to a ticket.
This requires manual modification in board settings and permission scheme.

Hello, Good day. Yes, this is possible.
1. On Project settings >> Permissions, make sure that the user has "Browse project" permission
2. Go to board settings >> general, check the filter used on the board. Edit the filter and remove the remove permission for all users and add only required users.
