Assigning Board Administrator to change period for displayed 'DONE' issues

I have Administrator privileges for the entire Jira Cloud product. I want to extend the time that 'DONE' issues are visible on the project board. The issue is when I go to the project board, clicking on the ellipses does not show the promised "Configure board" menu. Ostensibly, this is because I do not have Board permissions. As Administrator I should be able to set this, but again, the option does not appear. I should add that this project is a "Business project". I have another project which was created as a "Software project" and it does give me the 'Configure board' option when I click on the ellipses. Thanks for the help with this!

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

You cannot modify the "hide completed" option for a board for a Business project. It is hard coded to 2 weeks and there is no access to change that.

The board management for such a project is very different than the boards that are created for Software projects. Business projects have a built in board that does not have a "configure board" option.
