Hi,

We use Jira for our agile team, but the funny thing is we don't really have product owners. Depending on the type of work each sprint, our team members would like to have the someone accept the story after it's "done". The person to accept could vary story to story. Is there a way to do this in Jira?

Thanks

Sure. There are lots of ways to do this. One of the most common method would be to have a two step closer status. For example you might have the initial done status be resolved and then the final done status be closed or accepted. The user that transitions the issue to resolved could then assign it to someone to  accept the solution.

Hi @Paul Sandmair,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Yes, you can do this. One way of doing it is to add a new status in your workflow and a custom field for the user that should accept the story. On the transition out from the new status you can add a condition that only allows the user in the custom field to perform the transition.
