Assign added to actions list Next-gen projects

I spend a lot of time clicking on issues on boards or backlogs to assign them to people or myself. Can the Nex-Gen team add assign to the actions list? It would save so much time.

@james_bailey I agree with you! It would be really useful.

If you need quickly create an issue and add basic information, you can consider using a voice assistant as JIVA: Jira Intelligent Virtual Assistant.

We're working on a keyboard shortcut for Next-gen which will allow you to assign issues to yourself and also to others on your team. That's in progress now, we'll let you know when it's ready for you :)
