Assign Roles to Project Users

Hi,

I am sure someone has figured out how to do this but I just can't make this work. I have created a set of roles and a new permission scheme which uses the new roles. I am simply not able to figure out how to bulk assign the roles to the users of the project.

Not a rest API expert but even that does not provide a way to download all the users of a given project and then using a separate API call update the role for each user.

Can anyone help me out of this hole that I have dug for myself?
