Assign License to JIRA user on first login (v8.5.4)

Hi,

How can we go ahead and automatically assign a license to JIRA user on their first login?

Basically add them to the jira-license group.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!!

So Whenever you creating an account in Jira or inviting an user to Jira that time you need to give the application access to Jira so by default the user will be added to the jira-software default group.

Hi Mayur, 

So anyone with the link can login to JIRA and the account is automatically created. Hence, was just thinking if we can add them to the jira-license group if they are not part of it during login.

NO that won't work you need to create an account and you need to give access to the user to the Application manually.
