I am setting up asset management so that we can track our inventory. However, when it comes to assigning hardware to a user, I don't see that option available. Can some help me with this

The easiest way of doing this is to have an user attribute on the object that references the owner. You can then use that in an automation to set the associated hardware when the user submits a ticket. Another option is to have a separate object schema/type for all your users and then have a reference attribute in the hardware object that links the user to the object. Same thing here, you would use an automation to add the hardware to the ticket, the only difference is the AQL used in the automation.
