As I am a JIRA Admin, can I design the issues workflow on my own regarding the IT process I have?

I was a JIRA user for long time, but not in the Admin side. Now I have to work as an admin for JIRA, and I would like to know that I can create workflow for issues which used in the operation team. 

In my department, it applies the own process which is slightly differnt from the default that JIRA provides so I would like to know that as an admin, it is posible to create the workflow process regarding to the interna process applying in the team.

Yes, you can create your own custom workflow in Jira.
