Are you able to reduce remaining effort to 0 when status = Resolved?

Hello. We have been training remaining effort by considering work logged by both development and QC. To represent our development progress when the status is Resolved. Our developers have had issues with trying to change the remaining effort to 0 when the status is Resolved. Does anyone know why that is?  Is there a configuration that we can perform to workaround this issue?

Hi @Peter Alouche,

In the workflow of a company managed (classic) project, you could add a post function to the transition to status resolved. That would be an update issue field post function that would set the value of remaining estimate to 0. In the workflow, that would look like this (first line in the table below):

Similarly, through automation you can do the same. Your automation rule would look somewhat like this:
