Are there recommended stable feature releases for JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Crowd?

I received info about the new terminology with platform-, feature- and bugfix-releases.

However I have a question to the terminology which I do not see any more: latest stable version.


This was a recommendation I received in the past and I cant see that any more.


So  if I don't want to stay with an ER for 1-2 years one one side and I dont want to upgrade to latest feature release immediately on the other side: what would be the recommended latest stable version?

All releases on the standard download page can be described as "stable".  See https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/which-version-of-jira-is-stable-in-market-right-now/qaq-p/934123 for the previous recent discussion on it.
