Are there plans to relase the Auto Link Plugin on Jira Cloud?

Good day,

I just want to find out are there any plans for the Autolink Plugin (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211246/autolink-plugin-for-jira?hosting=server&tab=support) to be migrated to the Cloud?

We do use this plugin quite extensively and I know there it is unsupported but just curious.

Hello Andrew,

Currently there are no plans to convert the AutoLink plugin to a Cloud app. I see you've noticed it's unsupported, but just wanted to set expectations with apps that are released under Atlassian Labs:

Experiments released into the world! Atlassian Labs holds unsupported apps and personal projects by Atlassian developers. Although you may find unique and highly useful functionality in the Atlassian Labs apps, Atlassian takes no responsibility for your use of these apps. The apps are often developed in conjunction with Atlassian hack-a-thons and ShipIt days and are provided to you completely “as-is”, with all bugs and errors, and are not supported by Atlassian. Unless licensed otherwise by Atlassian, the Atlassian Labs apps are subject to Section 14 of the Cloud Terms of Service – https://www.atlassian.com/legal/cloud-terms-of-service – or Section 8 of the Software License Agreement – https://www.atlassian.com/legal/software-license-agreement, as applicable, and are "No-Charge Products" as defined therein.

I can see how this app would be useful for Cloud, as its functionality is very simple and it follows the mantra of "do one thing well". It's possible someone may decide to make a Cloud equivalent in a future ShipIt. Keep checking Marketplace from time to time!

Cheers,
