Are there any roles/permissions that are not able to be assigned to custom groups?

Are there any hidden permissions/roles that cannot be added to a custom group? I am looking to use only imported groups to assign all roles/permissions to users.

This question cannot be answered because it's the wrong way around.

Roles and permissions are not assigned to groups, groups are added to roles and permissions.

No roles, permissions or groups are "hidden"
