Approvals custom field of type Approvals started appearing

Hi,

I am seeing a custom field with name Approvals (LOCKED) of type Approvals in my environment. How can I come to know from where do this custom field got added in my environment?

I suspect it's come from a Service Desk installation, but it could be something else.  Could you let us know what version of JIRA Core you have, and whether you've got Service Desk and/or Software added to it.
