Anyone Else Experiencing these Jira Cloud Ticket Issues with Images?

I'm experiencing some bugs while working with images in Jira Cloud ticket types, for example a Task ticket.

List of Issues

  1. Dragging images duplicates the image instead of dragging it to a different part of the description
  2. Resizing uploaded images does not seem to work
  3. Hitting the Return key in attempt to load the new image dimensions closes the ticket

Issue 1

The UI implies I'm able to drag images to different positions within a ticket's description. When I attempt to do that, the image is often duplicated instead of just moved.

Issue 2

If I click on an uploaded image and type a new value for either the length or width of the image, the image is not resized.

Issue 3

Continuing from number 2, if I hit the Return key in one of the fields (i.e. length or width), the entire ticket closes. After about 5 to 10 seconds it reloads, but people might think they have lost their info.

Related Issue: when using a template for certain ticket types, you can lose your progress completely when the template is reloaded as part of the entire ticket modal reload.

I have videos of these issues, but can't upload them here.

Hi @James Falconi welcome to the community.  For issue 1 & 2, I found JRACLOUD-94792 and JRACLOUD-96908 on Atlassian's Jira Site. I would suggest voting for and watching it.

Since you have a Premium license, If you have steps to reproduce issue #3, I would have your System Admin contact Atlassian Support and have them weigh in.

Hope that helps.
