Any plans for burn down charts in NG projects?

I've seen a couple posts mention there are no burn down charts in next gen projects in Jira. I'm wondering if there are plans to add those and, if not, reasoning as to why they aren't supported. It's a report my team relies on a lot and it's holding us back from using NG projects. Any info or planning is welcome.

Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Currently, the Cumulative Flow Diagram report is being developed for next-gen, so we don't know when the burndown will be implemented because is not on the roadmap for now. We don't have feature request suggesting the implementation for burndown charts, but we also don't have for cumulative flow diagram and even though they are developing this, so we must wait for them to implement this feature. If you need to use this report, we suggest you use a classic project for now.
