Any issues using the Database Values v5.2 add-on with Jira Software 8.12

I am planning an upgrade to Jira 8.12 (or 8.13 LTR if it comes out in time).  We currently have the Database Values for Jira installed and working on Jira 7.13.1.  The versions page for the Database Values add-on says it's compatible to Jira 8.8.1 only.

I've installed a test instance of Jira 8.12 and version 5.2 of the Database Values add-on with the same config as my production version and it seems to work:

• Lookup works
• Ajax type ahead works
• Issue Statistics Gadget, Two-Dimensional Filter stats, Filter results dashboard gadget all work.
• No errors in logs

Has anyone done any testing with this combination and have you come across any problem?

Basically - should this work?

I've upgraded to version 8.11.1 of Jira Server with version 5.2 of the Database Values add-on.  It says it's incompatible in the Manage Apps but it is working ok for me since upgrading.
