Any extension for overview worklog from 2 different Jira

Hi,

is there a tool or application or extention in Chrome that can manage (show) worklogs from two Jira together?

We have our own Jira (Server) and our people log their work into it. But we also have a customer that have their Jira (Server) and our people are logging work in there too. I would like to have one tool or app or extention that show me logged work from both jira.

Jira Assistant is cool, but it does´t show logged work in one overview. I have to switch instance to get worklog report from the oher Jira.

Please shere any advice.

Thanks a lot.

Veronika

Hi @Veronika Dvorska,

We have an app for Jira - WatchTower that allows putting together issues from 2 or more Jira instances to work with them on one board. And it has an extension app Time Reports that shows you 1 compound worklog report from all Jira instances (2 or more) that you add as sources for WatchTower board.

Please, check it out.

If you want more information, let me know - we can arrange a demo.

Regards,

Katie

Thanks a lot for your advice :) I checked WatchTower out and it´s not what I would really needed. I´m about control logged work from my people. If we would use only our Jira, that would be great. But we work on issues in other Jira whitch belongs to other company, our customer. Yes I can generate reports in xlsx or csv from both Jira and make perfect pivot table in EXCEL or report in Power BI.. but I miss someting like a tool or app or just extention like Jira Assistant. This is very usefull extetntion, graphickly and very clear. But there is the problem that JA doesn´t shows worklog from 2 different Jiras together. The same people do work in our Jira and even in the other one Jira, but I cant put their logged work together and easily see how many hours they spended in the day.

Hi @Veronika Dvorska

What I really meant to recommend is the extension to WatchTower - Time Reports for Remote Jiras

It works only in combination with WatchTower, but it does what you mentioned.
Pls take a look at the app.

Regards,

Katie

@Katie Zavhorodnia_Appfire you have right. Time Reports for Remote Jiras is the perfect tool. Pity that it has to be installed inside the base WatchTower app :(
If there is no other solution (for free :)), we will take WatchTower.
Thanks Kateryna

thanks @Aron Gombas _Midori_ for mentioning Exalate.

(I'm with the team that builds Exalate)

The mergeWorklog function is documented (here)

Hmm, how about syncing the worklogs between the two Jira instance and then you can look at only one instance?

There are several syncing apps, maybe one of those could be used for this:

  1. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1213645/exalate-jira-issue-sync-more
  2. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1215199/backbone-issue-sync-for-jira
  3. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211111/elements-copy-sync-formerly-exocet

(Note that it should be a "merge" type of syncing, so the app needs to support that concept)/
