Alternative to job-config in Confluence that works across multiple products

I'm looking for an alternative to the job-config module in Confluence, that also works in Jira. I'm developing a cross-product app and I need a way to automate certain tasks. Is there a simple solution like there is for Confluence, that works on Jira as well?
