Allow all statuses to transition to this - How do you handle re-opening?

The feature to allow all transitions to a status seems like a great idea. Makes it easy to build workflows that can drop into any state for simple workflows.

However, it falls short when an issue is resolved, and you need to re-open it. How does one clear out the resolution?

By even adding one status that accepts all transitions, it allows a user to re-open an issue without clearing the resolution unless you completely disable editing while an issue is closed.

Use a post function to clear the resolution (e.g. https://jsutil.atlassian.net/wiki/display/JSUTIL/JIRA+Suite+Utilities+Workflow+Post-Functions).

When you make a status that allows all states to transition into it, there isn't a way to apply a post-function.
