Allow API Tokens for MCP Servers

Hey Guys,
I use claude in automated flows  with "mcp-remote@latest" where using OAuth2 is not suitable because a human is not available to complete the sign in process for the the flow.

You have a token generation system here: https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/api-tokens

Can you please update your MCP servers to allow configuration of using these generate tokens

Alternatively is there another process I am not aware of?

I can see that others also want this feature, eg: https://github.com/sooperset/mcp-atlassian
I could use that but prefer to only use tools from trusted providers and think that you should implement this feature directly
