Allocated time on a ticket has started ticking down without assignee logging time - can I stop this?

A ticket had 3d allocated - assignee has dragged into 'in review' but not logged any time. The time left is now at 1d. Any ideas why and how to stop this?

Hello Sian,

Sorry to hear you are facing this problem.

Per your description, I understand that you have a ticket estimated with 3 days and, although the assignee of the issue has not logged anytime and just dragged the issue into 'in review', the time tracking of the ticket is displaying as he logged 2 days already. Is it correct?

By default, the time tracking fields do not behave this way. In fact, the initial time estimation you set only get decreased when someone logs time on it. That being said, please provide us the following information so we can better understand and troubleshoot the issue:

1 - Can you please provide us what fields you are using to estimate your issues? Can you confirm if you are using the default time tracking?

2 - Can you provide us a screenshot of the fields you are currently using to estimate your work?

3 - Can you check under the history tab if any changes were performed to your estimation fields that could be causing the scenario you are facing?

Let us know if you have any questions.
