All of a sudden the stories vanished from the Sprint in the backlog tab but are tagged correctly

sushant.bansal April 10, 2025

When the stories were marked done, all of a sudden the stories vanished from the Sprint in the backlog tab but are tagged correctly individually to that sprint.

Ex. Story has Sprint A tagged to it, but in backlog under the Sprint A there is no story. It was showing up before they were closed. Usually they are strike out and are visible, but this sprint became empty and now again says start sprint.

How to get the stories lined up again in the sprint in the backlog tab?

No filters are used and the statuses are marked to columns properly. This was not happening before this.

Hello David, there is no change made on this field and neither it has any time frame added there.

Atlassian help desk is saying it is expected, but I am not sure how is this expected behaviour when it is not happening to any other proejcts.

check to be sure the  completed issues dropdown at the bottom of your Board Configuration General information has something that aligns with what you are seeing.  I assume it is possible that value got altered unintentionally
