Alerts for Jira events posted into HipChat room

Alerts for Jira events posted into HipChat room

Alerts for regular messages seem to be working ok in the HipChat client (Windows).

However I am not alerted for Jira events integrated into a HipChat room. The integration works just fine. I am just not made aware of new events. I have to constantly remember to check the room to see whether new Jira events turned up or not.

Is there no way to be alerted for these events?

Hi Daniel!

In JIRA, there's a setting for "dinging" the HipChat room when notifications are sent. Just make sure the box is checked - it's the very bottom option when you're configuring that particular notification.

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.

That was set already. But just to try a gain I unchecked it, checked it again, and now we notifications. Don't know what was wrong there.
