No, I'm old and don't exercise enough, so I'm not very agile.

I think we're missing a question here.  But at a guess, this is about JIRA 7 and the restructuring.  If you want the Scrum and Kanban features JIRA Agile offered in the past, then for versions 3 to 6 of JIRA, install the Agile add-on.  For 7, you need to get "JIRA Software" (it's not quite JIRA + Agile add-on, but most of us don't need to know the details, and can think of it as being equivalent)
